Some mistakes when given time, turn out to be blessings in disguise. I realized I stressed a lot of things into finding the right girl for me, we all do, we stress everything when the right one from us is really where they are supposed to be, where we left them, in the “Friend Zone”. Nakakapagod na mag-explain.
Everytime I met my relatives, friends or even a stranger lage nila tinatatanung kung may “someone” na ko..ang lage ko lang sinasagot wala sabay smile..they will ask kung baket? I admit nahihirapan ako sagutin ang simpleng tanong na yun..hindi ko rin kasi alam ang sagot. I always answer nalang na “busy sa studies eh”…”wala pa eh…” blah blah blah, makapagdahilan lang minsan pero deep inside hindi ko rin alam kung baket wala pa sya..kung baket di ko pa s’ya kasama. Sa 23yrs of my life..beginning nung maging college ako puro ganun ang tinatanung nila. Napapagod na ako sumagot..napapagod na ako mag-explain. Nakakasawa na. Nakakalungkot pa minsan. Nakakainis. Kung pede ko lang sabihin sa kanila na stop asking me such question eh..Mismong ako nga hindi ko alam yung sagot sa question na yan eh.
Basta ang alam ko dadating “s’ya”…hindi lang muna siguro ngayon pero sigurado ako na magtatagpo rin kame.
Knowing how to say ‘no’ to form boundaries gives much more power to your ‘yes’.
